Hello From your Javelina Cantina Hostesses,
Poolie, Beanie, and Rosie!
***************************************

OK Cafe-Open 7am-2pm Breakfast and lunch only. Great food, prices a bit high for Tombstone, but worth it. Locals eat there. NW Corner of 3rd and Allen, "Just a Biscuit Throw From the OK Corral!"

Pioneer Grill-Open 7am-? Breakfast and lunch only. Food can be great or iffy, depending on the cook. Near the corner of 4th and Allen, behind the bookstore.

Pony Espresso-Open ?-? Great place for a coffee or a sandwich or light lunch. Prices very reasonable. Between Shady Lady and Whistle Stop near 4th on Allen Street.

Big Nose Kate's-Open 10am-7pm for food, later for the bar. Good finger food, excellent Reuben sandwich, also pretty reasonable. Pizza is OK, better than most in town. Located between 5th and 4th on the South side of Allen Street.

Longhorn Restaurant-Sister restaurant to BNK's. Open 7am-8pm THE place to go for BBQ ribs, and they have a great New York Steak. Other food is good, and prices are reasonable, if high for Tombstone. SE Corner of 5th and Allen. Click here for Longhorn Menu-PDF file.

The Crystal Palace-Like Kate's it is also a bar, but their menu is better. Pizza, steak, sandwiches, etc. Prices reasonable. Drink prices much higher than Kate's. On NW Corner of 5th and Allen. Photos of the menu, hard to read, but you can get an idea

Six Gun City-new owners, I haven't eaten there since the changeover, but a friend of mine says the food there is good, and the Salmon is great! On NE Corner of 5th at Toughnut. Six Gun Menu

Nellie Cashman's-I don't much like it. I wanted to like it. I tried to like it. BrightOpal DID like it. But I don't. Sorry. NW Corner of 5th and Toughnut across from Six Gun City. Nellie Cashman's menu Caution! Link often opens a pop-up!

The Silver Nugget-Open 10 am to 5pm weekdays, later on weekends. Tolerable hot dogs and sandwiches, but their beef brisket sandwich is GREAT! At $5.00 for Sandwich and potato salad, it's a steal of a deal! Great ice cream too. NW Corner of 6th and Allen.

The Lamplight Room-Assuming it is still operating in October, which I doubt, it has the best Mexican food in town. VERY reasonably priced, excellent desserts, kick-ass Margaritas, we can only hope it is still functioning. Just North of Safford Street on 4th. Very near Schieffelin Hall. Lamplight's Mexican Menu

Morgan's Pizza-Located at the Tombstone Motel, Art and I got a pizza from there, and we were VERY disappointed. They do offer a breakfast, and soup and salad, but I haven't tried it yet. Will scan the menu soon! NE Corner of 5th and Fremont.

Cowboy Pizza-Located at Tombstone RV park, just outside town. Haven't tried their pizza yet, and haven't heard anything good or bad. Russ and Carol are nice folks, I'll try to get a menu for y'all.

Casa Martinez-Newest place in town, but I don't think Louie is going to keep it open much longer. Located on First between Fremont and Allen.

Ranch 22-Located at The Best Western. Highest priced restaurant in town, the food is usually excellent, but the service can be slow. Ask Brightopal for more info, she has eaten there more recently than I. Ranch 22 Menu. Notice the lack of prices? As my ol' Mama used to say, "Iff'n ya have to ask the price, ya probably can't afford it!" Just sayin' is all!

The Depot Steakhouse-Open for lunch and dinner, the Depot was really good before they started messing with their menu. Their steak was great, and their steak fries were awesome. Notice the past-tense. I haven't eaten there in a while, I don't have enough money to waste it on what may or may not be a good meal. Located on Tenth between Allen and Fremont adjoining Johnny Ringo's Bar. Oh, the pizza in the bar is great for a drunken midnight snack! Don't ask me how I know.

Oh, I forgot one place. Formerly called "Top of the Hill" and now called "The Miner's Shack", this place stinks by either name. Mostly patronized by locals with strong stomachs, or unfortunate tourists, this is THE place to go if your prune juice isn't working for you. Located as you come into town, my advice is to just keep on movin'!
